Come join us for the Dhanteras Festival, which includes the well-known festival of lights known as Diwali. During this autumn festival, we invite Maha Lakshmi to come into our hearts and homes. We pray to Her to help cleanse our minds of judgement and to show us the way to surrender to the Feet of the Master. With Her blessings, the light of Love in our hearts can be awakened so that it shines brighter in the world.

The churning of the Cosmic Ocean took place on Dhanteras. During the churning, Maha Lakshmi arose from the waves and brought both spiritual and material wealth to the world. Lord Dhanvantari also emerged carrying the sacred Ayurveda texts in one hand and a Kalash full of Amrit in the other.
