I am born to remind people of the love of God, not just the superficial love of God, but as you love God, as you long for God, as you say, “Yes, I love you, God”, God loves you much more than that. And I have come just to remind this love of God, nothing else.

WHAT IS SOUL AWAKENING?

Soul Awakening is a four-day immersive programme in Atma Kriya Yoga, taught by Paramahamsa Vishwananda. Participants describe it as an introduction to the practice that combines daily teachings, kirtan, meditation, and time with the teacher. Many speak of it as the moment the practice became experiential rather than theoretical.

PARAMAHAMSA VISHWANANDA

Kriya Yoga is a practice with a long lineage in Indian tradition, historically taught directly from teacher to student. Paramahamsa Vishwananda teaches Atma Kriya Yoga — a practice he developed within this broader tradition, which he attributes to his guru, Mahavatar Babaji. Students describe his teaching as distinctive for its emphasis on devotion (bhakti) alongside the techniques themselves.

WHAT IS AMTA KRIYA YOGA

Atma Kriya Yoga is a practice, not a shortcut. People who come to it often describe years of seeking beforehand — books read, teachers met, other practices attempted. What they describe about this one is that it becomes part of daily life, and continues to deepen with sincere practice.

Students describe what happens with Paramahamsa Vishwananda as something beyond learning techniques. Many speak of the first day as the moment something shifted for them — when the practice stopped being instruction and started being experience.

This is what the tradition understands as the transmission between teacher and student.
