THE GODDESS OF PROSPERITY

Lakshmi is the Divine Mother and the source of all other Devis in their specific vibrations. Mother Lakshmi cares for us—Her children and devotees—in two key ways: First, through the Grace of the Satguru and Lakshmi, we achieve balance in our lives, receiving material and spiritual prosperity. Secondly, as we mature spiritually and gain clarity, She guides us to the Feet of Lord Narayana, teaching continuous service with dedication and love. Let’s connect with Lakshmi during the auspicious Diwali festival and receive the Divine Mother’s care, blessings, and love.

ENJOY DIWALI 🪔

• Dhanteras: Prayers for Purity, Prosperity, and Health

“Maha-Lakshmi creates balance by uniting your body, mind and spirit, so that you can advance on your spiritual path.”

— Paramahamsa Vishwananda

PROGRAM DETAILS

DHANTERAS

Dhanteras marks the first day of Diwali festivities, centered on purity, gratitude, and divine grace. It is a time to cleanse one’s space and heart, and invite the blessings of Maha Lakshmi, Lord Kubera, and Lord Dhanvantari for harmony, health, and well-being.

Lighting lamps and performing puja are acts of remembrance and surrender, recognizing that prosperity flows through divine grace and the Guru.

LAKSHMI ABHISHEKAM

Lakshmi Abhishekam is a devotional bathing ritual for Maha Lakshmi and Lord Kubera, offered with humility and gratitude.
It is prayed for as inner alignment and blessing—purity of intention, steady faith, and the ability to use abundance in service to God and Guru.

GOVARDHAN PUJA

(During Morning Prayers)
Govardhan Puja honors Lord Krishna’s protection when He lifted Govardhan Hill, teaching surrender, trust, and humility.
Offerings and prayers express gratitude to the Lord and respect for nature, encouraging care for the Earth as a sacred responsibility.

PRAISING THE DIVINE MOTHER THROUGH DEVOTIONAL ARTS

(Sri Yantra drawing, kirtan, bhajans, and more)
Devotional arts are simple, heartfelt ways to offer love to the Divine Mother.
Through Sri Yantra drawing or meditation, kirtan, bhajans, mantra chanting, and sacred movement, the mind becomes calmer, the heart opens, and Her grace is welcomed into daily life.

ASHTALAKSHMI LECTURES – THE EIGHT FORMS OF GRACE

Ashtalakshmi explores eight forms of Maha Lakshmi, showing abundance as outer support and inner strength: Adi, Dhanya, Dhairya (Veera), Gaja, Santana, Vijaya, Vidya, and Dhana.
These teachings encourage gratitude and a balanced view of prosperity—received as grace and lived through spiritual growth and service.
