Śrī Raṅganātha’s gentle smile and eyes, half-closed in meditation, represent His role as the sustainer of creation—ever watchful, even in repose. Devotees worship Lord Raṅganātha as the compassionate protector who maintains cosmic order and grants spiritual liberation.
